Competition: Taco Showdown

We Called all taco enthusiasts and creatives to take part in SoCal Sydney’s ‘Create Your Own Taco’ Competition

We’re hosting the ULTIMATE Taco Showdown as part of the Taco & Tequila Fiesta

Get ready for a battle of flavours! After a lot of deliberation, our Head Chef Joel Doyle chose 4 tacos to feature on our menu during the Fiesta celebrations.
Join us all month to try the tacos – the one who sells the most will WIN a $100 dining voucher to spend at SoCal.

The Deets:

Submit Your Taco: From April 19th to April 26th, creatives submitted their most creative and delicious taco recipes for a chance to see it featured on SoCal’s menu.

Chef’s Selection: Our Head Chef Joel Doyle reviewed all submissions and selected the three contenders with a fourth wild card entry

Taco Takeover: The top four tacos with the most votes will reign supreme, each earning a coveted spot on our menu for one week during the Fiesta.

The Winner: The taco that sells the most during their week of the Fiesta will WIN a $100 app voucher to use at SoCal!

Terms & Conditions:

Winner must be 18 years or older
Prize for selling the most tacos during your week at SoCal is a $100 Applejack App voucher to use at SoCal on the Applejack App
Prize not redeemable for cash.
The first round of the competition closed on Friday 26th April. You will be contacted by the team at SoCal if your taco has been selected for the next round.
Second round of the competition closes Thursday 2nd May – You will be contacted by the team at SoCal if your taco will be featured on the menu.
Winner of the most sales will be contacted via email if they have won on Monday 27th May.
Winner has 24 hours to respond & accept their prize.
All entrants will be added to the SoCal & Applejack Hospitality database.
