Competition: Taco Showdown

We called all taco enthusiasts and creatives to take part in SoCal Sydney’s ‘Create Your Own Taco’ Competition

We hosted ULTIMATE Taco Showdown as part of the Taco & Tequila Fiesta

Taco enthusiasts and flavour masters were encouraged to submit a unique taco of their choice to have it featured on our menu for 3 weeks. From chicken curry, beef Birria, to fairy bread tacos and more, it was the perfect opportunity for people to get creative!

Chef Joel Doyle picked his favourite submissions, which included the Buffalo chicken, Indian chicken curry, loaded lobster, and wildcard S’mores taco. It was an epic battle of flavors with the Buffalo chicken taco taking the crown, selling 104 tacos in its week. Ameli (the creator) won a $100 dining voucher to spend at SoCal.
