SoCal Taco Tips for the Team

SoCal flinged back open their doors on Monday 22nd of June with a 3-day taco bonanza!

We celebrated the revival of Applejack, and reopened our doors with a twist – a way to give back to our staff who have done it tough over the past few months.

During the first 3 nights of reopening (Monday 22nd – Wednesday 24th June), we served up a bottomless feast of our legendary Baja Fish, Pork, Smoked Brisket and Tofu Tacos, along with all-time favourites Guacamole with Black Corn Tortilla Chips and Churros with Dulce de Leche sauce.

All food was provided on-the-house (excludes drink sales), all we asked is that you contributed a ‘taco-tip’ for our hard-working amigos!

 

As the hospitality industry was forced to shut their doors back in March due to CV-19, employment rates plummeted and unfortunately, many of our employees were effected and not eligible for government support. In addition to getting our wonderful staff back into the venues, we’re hoping your ‘Taco Tips’ will help revive the livelihood of our teams so we can continue to deliver exceptional experiences for you.

SoCal’s ‘Taco Tips’ will be part of Applejack’s group-wide ‘Food Sales For Staff’ initiative, with all monetary contributions pooled and shared equally, going directly to all returning Applejack employees that lost their income and weren’t eligible for the government’s JobKeeper Payment scheme.

And there’s more!! During our first week we also be gave away a FREE SoCal Margarita Kit every night ~ We had 7 kits up for grabs! All you had to do is buy a margarita when you dine with us from Monday 22nd to Sunday 28th June and you went in the draw to win! *Full details below.

During our reopening week we’re giving away a FREE margarita cocktail kit per night for 7 days! All you have to do is buy a margarita when you dine with us from 22 – 28 June and you go into the draw to win. The more margies you order, the more entries you get!

Entry will be through a QR code when purchasing a margarita.
