Our highly anticipated chilli eating contest made a fiery return for its 7th consecutive year!

SoCal’s annual Taco & Tequila Fiesta brought the heat for its 7th iteration in May 2o24.

From mild jalapeños to fiery Carolina Reapers, the spice levels are reaching new heights, and the flames were ready to be unleashed. Reigning champs, newbies and secret fire dragons had the opportunity to win a trophy, an Applejack voucher and a bottle of Altos Tequila to take home.

If you’ve been following along from the beginning, longtime runner-up Mad Dog finally claimed the fiery crown in a scorching display of glory in 2024!

Spectators were invited to join us from 5pm – 6:30pm to enjoy Happy Hour, which included $4 tacos and $15 Olmeca ALTOS spicy margaritas ad tunes from DJ Discoloro.
